Hey, so, since we’re sponsoring a checkpoint at CMWC 2008 Toronto, we’d love to get our friends helping out at the event! Totally awesome (and the most exciting, for sure) would be working a checkpoint during the main race, but if having hot, sweaty messengers thrusting manifests at you for a few hours isn’t your scene, there are many, many other ways to help out, for an hour, a day, or the whole weekend if you’re feeling super keen!
It’s happening on Toronto Island, which is normally a seriously chill place to hang out, though it’ll be pumped up with all the racing, bike polo, beer gardens (thanks Steam Whistle!), music, vendors and, most importantly, the hordes of messengers from all over the world! If you’re gonna be there and don’t want to race, but want to be more than an observer, contact the CMWC Volunteer Coordinator to find out how you can help!
